This year’s CERSAIE trade fair in Bologna showed several main directions in for the coming year: detail, color, stone, and wood.

With these MOTIVES, the exhibiting brands communicated with visiting customers, architects and businesses.

A longer break in the so-called normal fairs, meetings, and events, initially resulting from lockdown, and later Covid restrictions raised many question marks as to the attendance of CERSAIE visitors.

The international trade fair for ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment CERSAIE – is one of the most important industry in the world. They attract not only leading manufacturers but also designers and experts from the farthest corners of the world.

This year was very good: 50% higher turnout compared to the previous year.

In the subject of the trends that dominated the fair, we can see the “concrete” in ceramic tiles disappearing into oblivion in favour of colorful spaces, with charming jewellery details, towards nature showing the charm of wood and stone motifs.





What will appear in 2023? We are already very curious about it.

This year, the number of exhibitors, offers and visitors showed how important this type of event is. At every step, you could feel the joy of communing with people, inspired by the normality of interpersonal encounters.

CERSAIE 2022: Summarizing the interest of exhibitors and visitors, the topic can be summarized in numbers: 624 companies exhibited on 140,000 square meters, in 15 halls. The exhibitors were 354 companies from the ceramic tile industry, 88 from the bathroom equipment industry and 183 from the installation and raw materials industry. 237 exhibitors from outside Italy (38% of the total) from 26 countries. 91,296 visitors attended CERSAIE 2022.
