The creation of one international competition resulted from the potential arising from the mutual inspiration of participants from all countries. The competition categories also changed, in the second edition, participants could submit their projects in the following categories: Unlimited Architecture (for architects and designers), Everyday Design (for designers working in showrooms) and Young Power (for students).
The motto #UNLIMITED emphasised that a product database is only a tool in the hands of designers and it is up to them to use it. The new Tubądzin MONOLITH collection, whose premiere coincided with the start of the competition, created huge opportunities for architects and designers. To emphasise the scale of the competition, the Grand Prix winners won a trip to New York for NYCxDESIGN, thus providing for another dose of inspiration.
