Every year, in October, the Dutch Week (DDW) takes place in Eindhoven. It’s the largest event devoted to Northern European design, during which more than 2600 designers present their works and ideas to some 350 000 local and international visitors. DDW organizes exhibitions, lectures, networking events, debates and award ceremonies in around 110 locations across the city.

During the Dutch Week all possible areas of design are presented, however, the main focus is on experiments and innovation. Each year, specific attention is paid to the works and development of young talents.

DDW concentrates on designing the future and the future of design. The aim is to show how designers from around the world create a positive future and to strengthen the position of Dutch designers.
