On March 9, 2023, in the spaces of the Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw, the Final Gala of the fourth edition of the international Tubądzin Design Awards . During the event, prizes and GRAND PRIX were awarded in four categories: CultureFORM, Young Power, Everyday Design and Unlimited Architecture, as well as special awards recognizing individual participants.
The announcement of the winners and the presentation of awards was preceded by a panel discussion which honored with its presence the internationally renowned stage designer, Oscar winner Allan Starski and the director of the Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw, Waldemar Dabrowski. The theme taken up, “Culture of Surroundings,” released many emotions. Strong words were spoken about the signposts for future years in the design work of architects and the inspiration that should accompany these generations of architects and designers.
The official part of the evening was opened by Amadeusz Kowalski, vice-president of the Tubądzin Group’s board of directors, and Ewa Kryszkiewicz, manager of the Tubądzin Group’s development and cooperation with architects department. The ceremony was attended by award nominees, competition jurors and partners of this edition of TDA.
The leading theme was Culture of Surroundings.
