Ceramika Tubądzin has been sharing its knowledge and experience with students of Polish universities for years. We touch on the topics of trends in design, modern technologies, and business, and share our knowledge and experience by organizing Innovation and Design Meetings as part of T-Academy.
The idea behind these meetings is the synergy of science and business. In December, we invited students of the Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Commerce in Warsaw to actively participate in the program.
On 14.12.2022 we held a knowledge workshop, the purpose of which was to show UTH students how important the transfer of knowledge from modern industry to the sphere of science is for shaping their potential.
The students had the opportunity to learn about the modern process of designing and manufacturing ceramic tiles, which was discussed by CTIII’s Chief Technologist Karol Serek. He presented the Continua+ technological line at the Ceramika Tubądzin III factory in Sieradz and talked about production capabilities and new decorative lines.
It was also extremely important for future interior designers to be exposed to Tubądzin Group’s design and collections. They had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in interior design and furnishings, using the example of the Home Zone in the company’s showroom in Sieradz. This was told by Paulina Owczarek-Lechowicz, Tubądzin Group Designer.
The last activity on the agenda of the meeting was an extremely dynamic and engaging business workshop for students on the topic of “Student-Designer-Architect – develop your design path – architect’s competencies and principles of cooperation with the client”. The workshop was led by Ewa Kryszkiewicz, Development and Cooperation with Architects Manager at Tubądzin Group.
The event was honored with the presence of the Associate Dean for Interior Design, MSc arch. Małgorzata Jodłowska and Dr Grzegorz Glinko, head of the Department of Interior Design.
The joint projects that the university carries out with business partners provide a unique opportunity to get in touch with the profession and its practical aspects at an early stage of studies up to graduation. Read more about the cooperation with UTH here.
Knowledge transfer between science and business has always been part of Tubądzin Group’s broader development activities.
We thank the students for their active participation in the event. We wish you success on the path of development of your design journey.
We are happy to have you in our Tubądzin Design Community.
