On 1 March we are launching the fourth edition of the international competition for architects, designers and students of architecture Tubądzin Design Awards’22.
The key themes are timely in today’s world #life #culture #human. These themes are at the base of design in the coming years.
This year, TDA focuses on design that answers to the global challenges and upcoming changes. However, all bearing in mind the experiences, values and needs of people.
Jury
This year’s judges of the entered projects will be:
- Allan Starski – Chairman of the jury, Stage designer for film and theater, Academy Award winner
- Martin Duplantier – President of the French architectural council “Archietcture et Maitrise d’Ouvrage” – France
- Malgorzata Szczepańska – Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director of Elle Decoration magazine – Poland
- Melike Altınışık – Architect, Founder and Principal Designer at Melike Altınışık Architects – MAA – Turkey
- Tomek Smus – Architect of Tubądzin Group – Poland
Special Category CultureFORM
The jury of the special category CultureFORM are:
- Davide Macullo – Founder of Davide Macullo Architects based in Lugano, Switzerland
- Marta Sowińska-Gąska – Architect, Grand Prix winner TDA 2020, Poland
- Ewa Kryszkiewicz – Development and Cooperation with Architects Manager at Tubądzin Group, Poland
Patron of the category CultureFORM is Teatr Wielki – Opera Narodowa – in this category, the winner will have the opportunity to join the prestigeous team of artists connected with the National Opera as well as take part in projects realized by TWON.

The total prizepool of the competition is EUR 78 000
Architects, designers and students can show the world their ideas and compete for prizes in the following categories:

The winners of the competition and final prizes of 4XGrand Prix will be presented at the international Final Gala TDA’22
Within the framework of the competition, the authors of the projects will compete for stage prizes and the Grand Prix during the final, for the first time in all 4 categories.
