The success of “Tubądzin Arena Design – Wellbeing” in the Ukraine and Hungary in 2019 has resulted in a huge demand for similar in the architectural industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic as well as the travel bans and restrictions on the borders, the format of direct meetings must be temporarily suspended. Health and safety of people participating in meetings are most important to the company, therefore the Tubądzin Group is currently working on alternative means for collective exchange of knowledge and inspirations in the industry. Using the technological possibilities of virtual reality and keeping the basic assumptions of Tubądzin Arena Design, the discussion about the most important challenges in the industry is still possible and needed.

Meanwhile, the first quarter of international meetings in the Central European region is behind us and is worth summarising. Apart from the Hungarian and Ukrainian offices, the best offices and architects from Moldova and Russia have been invited to participate in this year’s edition. We are currently in a situation where we have to face the reality of a changing and unpredictable world. Therefore, a clear vision of where we are going as an industry and consistency in following this vision are most needed. In times of crisis, we see how important the quality of human life is, understood both as relationships and the environment we live in.

The concept of the edition of the program with foreign partners in is “Zero waste” which means working on a new approach to the use of resources when creating objects, spaces or products that can serve customers for many years. The program Tubądzin Arena  this year focuses on changes not only in human lives but also in generations. From this broad and long-term perspective, it takes a closer look at the architect’s responsibility related to sustainable planning of spaces and objects – both private and public.

Architecture and Office Agencja Zdorenko was the partner of the previous in Ukraine. The most important interior magazine, Prima Interior, which is also a partner in the competition  took patronage and support too. Over 800 architects and industry representatives, both Ukrainian and other nationalities, have already participated in the panels in 2019 and 2020.
