In the first edition of the TDA more than 1200 exceptional designs were submitted. In April authors of the best projects went to sunny Milan for the Salone del Mobile 2017.
Salone del Mobile is a prestigious annual event visited by hundreds of thousands of visitors. During the fair, the latest trends in contemporary design are presented. The winners of the first edition of Tubądzin Design Awards and Tubądzin Design Awards International were able to participate not only in fair but also in accompanying events.
This year, as a part of SUPERDESIGN Show in Superstudio Più exhibition “POLISH DESIGN. Tomorrow is today” was presented. The curator was Dorota Koziara. During the grand opening, one of the most prominent Polish designers and at the same time the chairman of the Jury of Tubądzin Design Awards was accompanied by the TDA winners.
Milan, as the capital of world design, has inspired in every step. Apart of visiting exhibitions and fair, the winners of TDA also had the opportunity to explore the city and take a look at such architectural pearls as the Cathedral of Duomo, the Gallery of Viktor Emanuel II and the Castle of the Sforzes. There was plenty of time for backstage conversations with designers from all over the world, as well as savor the Italian cuisine.
Second edition has been launched! We encourage you to submit your projects. For the best projects await unique awards, among others: Grand Prix Monolith 2018 in the amount of 2,500 euros and a trip to New York City, trips to Milan, workshops at Dorota Koziara Studio in Milan, Villa International Co. in Budapest or WWAA in Warsaw!
