The first virtual edition of Tubądzin Design Days is over. Acclaimed experts from the design, business and architecture industries took part in three amazing and inspiring online meetings.
The fifth and anniversary edition of Tubądzin Design Days took place in 3 unique online sessions, covering important topics to the world of architecture. The invited experts discussed intriguing questions from different perspectives. The subjects included business activities, but also mechanisms that guide us in these times of rapid change. The organizers also tried to find answers to questions about the changes in the world of architecture and design after the pandemic.
The Tubądzin Design Days 2020 series (eTDD) was divided into three modules – architecture, business and design. For three consecutive weeks, every Tuesday at 6 PM (Polish time), Internet users were able to join the discussion with invited personalities by sending questions, which were then asked by the meeting’s moderator.
On June 9th, 2020 in a meeting with the title “ARCHITECTURE”. How will COVID-19 influence newly created spaces? ” the following guests participated: Boris Kudlička – set designer, architect and designer; Jacek Santorski – social psychologist, business psychologist; Jakub Szczęsny – architect. The meeting was hosted by Jarosław Kuźniar – journalist, traveler and the CEO of Kuźniar Media.
The next meeting in the eTDD series was about business, and the invited guests tried to answer questions, like “How will the current situation affect the real estate market? ”. This topic was discussed by prof. dr hab. Jerzy Hausner – economist, Michał Sapota – president of HRE Investments, and Amadeusz Kowalski – vice president of the management board of Tubądzin Group; the meeting was moderated by Roman Młodkowski – president of the management board of BIZNES24, a business journalist.
On June 23rd, 2020 the topic discussed concerned “DESIGN” – The signals of changes in design and business – consumption and further challenges.” Zuzanna Skalska – trend analyst in design, architecture, business and innovation; Małgorzata Szczepańska – editor-in-chief of Elle Decoration magazine; Maciej Zień – fashion and interior designer together with Łukasz Radwan, journalist and promoter of art diagnosed the state of world design during the epidemic.
