On March 23, 2017 in Lviv another international meeting of Tubądzin Design Days took place. Special guest of TDD was a famous Polish designer – Maciej Zień, who cooperate with Tubądzin Management Group since 2009.
For many years Tubądzin Management Group – as one of the leading Polish manufacturers of ceramic tiles – has been building strong relationships with architects not only from Poland, but from all over the Europe. The project dedicated to this group of professionals – Tubądzin Design Days – was preperead as a cycle of meetings and has become an inspiration for people representing the world of design. Poland edition of the event has been well received and on the wave of this success TDD has hit the international arena.
This time Tubądzin Design Days took place in Lviv. Participants were invited to the contest “Inspire us. Show the city of Ukraine”. Their task was to create a collection of tiles inspired by the cities of Ukraine. Winners received unique prizes, among others: trips to Cersaie 2017 in Bologna.
The owners and Board of Tubądzin Management Group have announced comapany plans for 2017, presented materials about new factory, which was launched in November 2016 in Sieradz, Lodz, and also presented new brand of large format tiles – MONOLITH.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring discussion between Tubądzin Brand Architect – Tomek Smus and Maciej Zień. The main point of conversation was the question of similarities and differences in fashion and interior design. They talk about colors and timeless design, both in the interior and in the dressing room. Maciej Zień explained also, how in his opinion would look like a collection of tiles inspired by Lviv. Culmination of the event was the performance by Ukrainian virtuoso violinist Oleksandr Bozhyk.
In the second part of the meeting Tubądzin Management Group thanked the architects from Ukraine for their exceptional activity during the first edition of the Tubądzin Design Awards – 520 registered participants, who sent a total of 122 projects.
