It’s a special moment when we can present to you the winner of the first stage of FutureNow! This category, which is unique due to the situation in the world, was created with a view to the future and the changes that life in post-pandemic reality brings.

From among many submissions we received from all over the world, the jury chose the winner, Van Long Le from Vietnam, who receives the grand prize. Together with finalists and the winner of the second stage of FutureNow he will be at the Final Gala. Congratulations!

The projects delighted the Competition Partner, GROHE, who awarded a special prize in the form of a voucher for GROHE products worth 1000 Euro. The prize is awarded to Sudipto Das from Bangladesh.

“The submitted designs take a very diverse approach to people’s needs, they take into account the current situation and look to the future. The first stage has shown how much potential is in the world of architecture, regardless of the that have surprised us on a global scale. There were so many great inspirations submitted to the competition that, apart from the main winner specified in the rules and regulations, we want to distinguish five more designs that won the jurors’ hearts. The world needs architects and designers who will create new spaces using their knowledge, experience and a creative, caring and empathetic approach. Tailored to human needs, but in agreement with the needs of the environment. The designs will be published in magazines and in a dedicated publication – the album of inspiration in the Future NOW category– says project manager Ewa Kryszkiewicz

We are pleased to present the additionally distinguished designs and their authors:

Mykola Molchan (Ukraine), Yi Yang Chai (Malaysia), William Mazmur (Indonesia), Vadim Crasnojon (Republic of Moldova), Sudipto Das (Bangladesh).

We remind you that the second stage of the FutureNow category lasts until 31 2020. At each stage of FutureNow, the main winner will receive a cash prize of 1000 €, a personalised interview in the pages of White Mad magazine, publications in industry media, promotion on the organiser’s and competition partners’ website, promotion in the organiser’s social media and international promotion of the winning design.
See what the winning looks like and get inspired.
