The catalog of realizations of Tubądzin Airflow System façade solutions has recently expanded with a new, rather unusual object, which, however, emphasizes the universal scope of application and excellent performance of our solution.
As part of the reconstruction of an intersection in Sulejówek, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. carried out the construction of a 90-meter road tunnel under the tracks, intended to improve the safety and comfort of residents. The newly constructed tunnel under the railroad crossing consists of a roadway with two lanes, a sidewalk and a bicycle path. Access for people with limited mobility is facilitated by elevators.
It is crucial for infrastructure investments to ensure the durability and ease of maintenance of the facility in question. For this reason, Tubądzin Torano White tiles of 80×80 format, fixed to a substructure using the Tubądzin Airflow System, were used on the walls of the tunnel.
This solution is extremely durable and resistant to adverse weather conditions and is also extremely easy to keep clean. The tiles have a natural anti-graffiti surface, which will make them easier to clean in case of vandalism.
Such a solution is not only aesthetic and safe, but also economically justified. Tested spacing of substructures every 80cm allowed to reduce costs while maintaining durability.
