As a manufacturer, we recommend architects to pay attention to all factors related to the use of satin or polished tiles in public places, halls or corridors. These places carry a high risk of damaging to the tiles surface, due to frequent contact with rough or hard materials (such as sand, dust, heels, construction dust, hard shoes, etc.).
SATIN CERAMIC TILES

The satin finished porcelain tile has a nice, velvety surface, which is a novelty among Polish producers of ceramic tiles. Tubądzin is the first Polish company in the industry to offer this type of tile finish, obtained by mechanical polishing with the use of specialized tools. These guarantee a special finish with low light reflection. Depending on the angle of its incidence, the face of the tile shows a different degree of matte or delicate gloss. As a result, the satin, silky finish of the tiles provides a new aesthetic impression, and the face of the tile appears velvety to the touch.
The satin-finished porcelain tiles are perfect for both large and small spaces, as well as intimate interiors. Because it is a tile that is extremely pleasant to the touch and beautiful to the eye, it looks good on the walls in representative places and all rooms (e.g. in the bathroom, in the living room, or the bedroom) where the visual effect is important. However, because this porcelain stoneware is delicate, you should be especially careful when placing it on intensively used floors, such as lobbies, corridors, or public areas.

The polished tile has a mirror-like, very flat and high-gloss surface. This effect is achieved through mechanical grinding, using the best quality materials and a set of polishing tools. The decorative qualities of polished tiles are desired by customers, who often use them in projects where the representative appearance of the space is of key importance. The classic polished finish can be used on tiles of all sizes, colors and patterns, and also perfectly imitates natural stone or concrete.
These tiles are perfect for walls and floors inside buildings. They will look particularly effective on large surfaces, for example in the living room or bathroom, where their aesthetic values can be fully exposed. As a manufacturer, however, we recommend that you pay attention to all the factors related to their use, especially in public places, halls or corridors. These tiles are more delicate and susceptible to scratching compared to their matte counterparts. If used intensively and improperly, they tend to tarnish and scratch.
