This approach is visible in competition prizes, especially regarding the Grand Prix, which is an inspiring trip to Iceland or Abu Dhabi. #nature and #future are intertwined in our prizes. We want you to choose the destination where you want to be with us and embark on a journey to find inspiration.
Iceland is a very diverse place. On the one hand it is full of natural phenomena, such as the opportunity to see the northern lights. On the other hand, it is a place where modern architecture meets the specific construction of the past. The ability to combine these two spheres is a challenge for contemporary architects designing buildings in Iceland.
Abu Dhabi is a city of the future where great opportunities meet the absence of barriers for imagination. However, Masdar – a fully ecological city that is being built next to the city itself is the main destination of the trip. A place full of modern solutions, the use of natural energy sources and architecture ideally suited to the place, is a flagship combination of #nature with #future.
TDA is also a chance for students to spread their wings during international internships in Lviv, Paris and Warsaw. Winning in the Young Power category is your chance to travel to an inspiring place and work in an international environment under the watchful eye of professional architects.
